Make AI product videos from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor (MCP) – InstantClips Skip to content
InstantClips

Connect InstantClips to your AI assistant.

Paste this address into your assistant and sign in when it asks. That is the whole setup.

https://app.instantclips.ai/mcp

New here? InstantClips turns a product link into a short video for TikTok and Instagram, with the writing, the plan and the video itself done for you. See it at instantclips.ai, or see how it works in the assistant you already use.

What your assistant can do.

Say "make a video for this product" and your assistant does the whole job in your account: imports the product, writes the video direction, checks it with you, renders the video and hands back the link. Your brand, your credits, your say before anything spends.

  • Import a product from its page link or from its photos, into any of your brands
  • Write the video direction, redraft it on your notes, and edit any line before a credit is spent
  • Make the video and hand back the MP4 and a share link, ready to post
  • Work through a whole catalogue, one product after another, in one conversation
  • Create and switch brands, within your plan's brand limit

Built for sellers and agencies who already work in Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or an agent of their own: the videos come out of the chat you're already in.

Making a video spends your credits, the same as on the website. Your assistant is given the price first and asked to check with you before it spends them.

Add InstantClips to your assistant.

Find the assistant you use below. The first time it connects, it opens InstantClips so you can sign in and approve it. There are no keys to copy.

  • Claude app

    1. In Customize › Connectors, select + › Add custom connector, paste https://app.instantclips.ai/mcp and select Add.
    2. Select Connect and sign in to InstantClips.
    3. In a conversation, turn InstantClips on under + › Connectors.

    On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it first under Organization settings › Connectors, and each member then connects it in Customize › Connectors.

  • ChatGPT

    1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins and select Add › Create MCP App.
    2. Name it InstantClips, paste https://app.instantclips.ai/mcp as the Server URL and keep Authentication on OAuth. Tick “I understand and want to continue”, select Create, and sign in to InstantClips when asked.
    3. Start a new chat and ask for a product video, or type @InstantClips to call it by name.

    On a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, an admin may first need to let members create plugins with MCP servers, under Workspace settings › Permissions & roles.

  • Cursor and VS Code

    One click opens the editor and adds InstantClips. It signs you in the first time you use it.

  • Claude Code

    Run this in a terminal. It adds InstantClips for every project, not just the folder you are in. Then type /mcp in Claude Code and choose instantclips to sign in.

    claude mcp add --transport http --scope user instantclips https://app.instantclips.ai/mcp
  • Codex

    Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml, then run codex mcp login instantclips to sign in. The ChatGPT desktop app and the Codex IDE extension read the same file.

    [mcp_servers.instantclips]
    url = "https://app.instantclips.ai/mcp"
  • Any other assistant or agent

    OpenClaw, Hermes or an agent you wrote yourself: point it at https://app.instantclips.ai/mcp over streamable HTTP. Sign-in is the standard MCP OAuth flow, so a client that follows the spec needs nothing else. Use the access token below for a client that can't open a sign-in page.

Every assistant you approve is listed under Authorized apps in settings, where you can disconnect it.

No browser? Use an access token.

Scripts, CI jobs and agents that can't open a sign-in page send a long-lived token instead. It gives full access to your account, so keep it out of anything you commit.

Sign in to create an access token. The commands below fill in with it.

  • Claude Code

    Run this in a terminal.

    claude mcp add --transport http --scope user instantclips https://app.instantclips.ai/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
  • Codex

    Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml. To keep the token out of the file, use bearer_token_env_var = "INSTANTCLIPS_TOKEN" instead and export it in your shell.

    [mcp_servers.instantclips]
    url = "https://app.instantclips.ai/mcp"
    http_headers = { Authorization = "Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" }
  • Any other client

    Send this header with every request to the address.

    Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN
